The government should support industrialists if they want to compete in international market, says President FBATI
President of Federal B Area Association of Trade and Industry Muhammad Ali said that the government should support the industrialists in terms of subsidy and the industry should be given relief like other sectors, only then they will be able to compete in the international markets. He said that if prices continue to rise and subsidy is not given, the industry will be in grave danger.
President FBATI highlighted that inflation continues to rise and petrol prices increase after every two weeks. In addition to that he also mentioned that the rise of gas and electricity rates made it impossible for the cost of production to be in control which is ultimately decreasing the profits of the business community.
Muhammad Ali while talking to the reporters said that the exporters are getting decent amount of orders, but these orders cannot be completed if our cost of production doesn’t meet the requirements of the global market.
