FBATI appreciates Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission for connecting Karachi Nuclear Power Plant 2 with National grid

President FBATI Muhammad Ali congratulated the chairman of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission Muhammad Naeem, Member Power Saad-ur-Rehman and considered this achievement a “Pakistan Day” gift.

Muhammad Ali said that cheap electricity from CANP 2 would definitely help in improving the economy of the country. He said that with the launch of Karachi Nuclear Power Plant Unit 2, the production capacity of nuclear power plants in the country would be doubled, which will alleviate the power shortage.

President Fabati Muhammad Ali expressed hope that with the arrival of two more power plants , Karachi’s industrialists would no longer have to rely on relatively expensive electricity generated from diesel gas and furnace oil.
