Karachi Police Chief Visited FBATI Office and Met the Delegation of Business Community
Karachi Police Chief Ghulam Nabi Memon visited Federal B Area Association of Trade and Industry office along with DIG West Asim Qaimkhani and SSP Central Ghulam Murtaza Tabassum and met the delegation of business community.
Addressing a function at the FBATI office, Ghulam Nabi Memon said that earlier police used to avoid reporting 100% crime to avoid accountability but now 97 to 98% crimes are getting registered which will help us control the crime rate.
The executive committee member of FBATI Mr. Idrees Gigi added that the Federal B Industrial Area police station is turning advanced with cameras being installed to ensure better security.
Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Memon emphasised that the only way to control crime is having police and the people of the city on the same platform, that way the criminals could also be punished.
FBATI also granted two motorcycles to the police department to improve the patrolling in the Federal B Industrial Area.
Ghulam Nabi Memon also expressed anger over the presence of illegal bus stands in the Federal B Area which is affecting the traffic flow and promised traders to increase the number of police personnel deployed in the area.
